Title: The Stardust Prince
Pairings: Sam Winchester and Gabriel, Dean Winchester and Castiel
Rating: M
Word Count: 33,534
Status: In-Progress
Author’s Note: There was originally supposed to only be three parts to this fic, but due to the staggering length of these final scenes, I have decided to split it into four. The fourth and final part will be posted once I am finished writing it.
Synopsis: Medieval AU. Sam Winchester is the owner of a humble village bookshop, and when his newest customer turns out to be a charming golden-eyed Prince who beckons him to the castle with promises of gold in exchange for a story read every night, his life takes a turn that no book in his shop could ever compare to.

I’m working on the third (and what was supposed to be FINAL) part to my Sabriel Medieval AU “The Stardust Prince”. I have had this entire fic planned out in detail from the moment I started it.
Thing is… this third part is almost 9,300 words, and it’s not even close to done. I had no idea these specific scenes would take up so many pages, but they have. I have at least another… five scenes to go? That would take up at least another ten to twenty pages. Possibly more.
So, I’m asking for the opinions of my readers.
Would you like it if I made this story four parts instead of three? That way, within the next day or two, you’ll be able to read the third part, which will probably be a little over 10,000 words once its done, and then you can wait for the fourth and FINAL installment, which will be those five final scenes I have planned?
OR, would you rather I make this third part the last, and have it be the longest chapter yet, and get everything I intended to write banged out in one shot? That’d make it, like a 20,000 word chapter.
I’d love some feedback on this. GAH, this fic has become out of control.
Title: Not Anymore
Pairing: Sam/Gabriel, Implied Sam/Amelia
Word Count: 2,673
Warnings: Angst, spoilers for Season Gr8
Author’s Note: This idea came to me while I was at work. Apparently folding sweaters leads to heart-wrenching Sabriel. Who knew.
Summary: Sometimes, you just gotta let people go.

| It's tangible. The heat and power and strength and love. Sam's pretty sure he can feel it all the way up to his throat when Gabriel thrusts into him, pushing groans out of him that only serve to encourage the archangel. Sam can feel it, everywhere, all up and down his body. It makes his hair stand on end, his toes curl. It makes his shoulders roll, his thighs clench. Gabriel is just slamming away inside of him and Sam can feel it in the static in the air. Can almost taste it when Gabriel comes. | ||

Sweet merciful God…
I want a fic where Sam and Gabriel are only just starting to become comfortable around each other after Gabriel’s resurrection / return from Purgatory / whatever. Gabriel has feelings for Sam, and plans a small date with him, much to Sam’s initial reluctance. Full on dinner in a cheesy setting kind of date. There are sweets galore, of course, but he actually makes an effort to get salads and all the healthy goodies Sam has a weakness for, and he even has a gift for him too. Maybe a book or new laptop or whatever would make Sam geek out.
And on the day of their planned date, I want Sam to cancel. To just not show up, even. Because he still doesn’t trust Gabriel enough. Because he still thinks about Mystery Spot and Changing Channels, and still can’t bring himself to get that close with what he still sees as The Trickster. Because he can’t see Gabriel doing something like this for him. He thinks it’s just supposed to be a way of the Trickster fucking with his feelings. Sam’s been fucked over enough by people he’s gotten close to.
And it hurts Gabriel. A lot. Maybe it could end angsty, or they could talk it out and there could be some fluff in there. I dunno. I like either one.
UGH, I just need a fic like this so bad. I would write it myself, but I already have too many fics going at once and, knowing me, his thing would turn multi-chaptered really fast, and I cannot make myself do that. Stardust Prince and Wayward Saints still beg to be finished.
I need this fic like air, and I will seriously love whoever sees this and gets enough inspiration to write it for me.

CURRENTLY INCOMPLETE.
Sam was leaning against the stone wall outside the dining hall, his face buried in the palms of his hands while fingers raked back through his thick hair. He was attempting to steady his ragged breathing.
“That went well.” Gabriel said, twirling on his heel.
“I feel as though I’m going to vomit.” Sam groaned.
Gabriel shook his head. “Oh come, now, my brothers aren’t that terrifying. You’ve just got to know how to handle them. Like a couple of wild stallions who will trample you to death unless you manage to get them reined. All they need is a good hard yank, and they’ll be ready for saddling.”
Sam lifted his head and stared at him oddly.
“…Perhaps I should have worded that differently…” Gabriel admitted.
And then Sam was laughing, softly at first, but before long he was near doubled over in hysterics, the sound of it echoing through the castle halls. Gabriel grinned broadly, watching him, relishing in the music of his laughter and the way it lit up his face. It was as though the sun had found its way into the castle.

Author’s Note: I am dedicating this fanfiction to my greatest inspirations. To Dawn, Olivia, Cyn, Tess, Briana, and Kris, for their brilliant and inspirational writing; to Dread and Steph, whose phenomenal Sabriel art keep me motivated as I work; and to Ash, for being my best friend and constant Sabriel companion.
THE STARDUST PRINCE
It was early dusk, with the skies painted in steaks of violet and orange, and the soft chill of autumn breeze wafting in through the rickety wooden walls of the humble bookshop, when Sam Winchester first laid eyes upon the Prince.
And I was wondering…
Would you guys prefer to read it part by part, or as one whole piece?
I can post the first third for you guys to read. It’s over 9,500 words at the moment, but it will be more once I just complete the last few pages. Or, would you guys rather wait until the entire fic is published, and then read it then? Either way, there will be some waiting involved, either for a new part once you have a taste of it, or for the entire fic itself.
I’m at a loss for what to do. I kind of really want you guys to read what I have so far, but I don’t want to torture you with how slow I bang these parts out, what with me now having a job and school approaching quickly.
What do you guys want?

| So it was you then? You gave me all these sabriel feelings with Lights Will Guide You Home? HOW COULD YOU. All these hurts, I can't even... I can never listen to that song again without thinking of Sam and Gabriel | ||

NO REGRETS. ♥
That fic is my baby. My most precious baby of all my babies. Nearly all of my fics have feels and hurts, but that one just NAILS you right in the heart every time. It killed me writing it, and still kills me when I go back and reread it. I’m a bit of a writing sadomasochist.
That song is forever my Sabriel anthem. FOREVER AND EVER. ♥
Had a pretty amazing birthday.
Got to spend two days with my best friends, we were able to get a copy of The Hunger Games early, and stayed up late Thursday night watching it. Then we spent all of Friday out shopping, getting coffee, going out for dinner. It was a blast.
Bought myself the second and third books in the Game of Thrones series, plus I got Game of Thrones Season One on DVD. I also got three amazing pairs of jeans that are printed to look like flower-print Victorian wallpaper, a pair of lace-up tan leather boots, and the comfiest owl pajamas in the world.
My inbox here was spammed with birthday messages from my followers, and it was literally the best thing ever. You guys have no idea how much that all meant to me. It feels incredible knowing I have people like you to turn to, and who care about me. Just want you guys to know how much I love each and every one of you.
Now, I’m relaxing. I’m going to read a little, and continue working on my Sabriel Medieval AU. Not sure if I should be calling it a minibang anymore, since I think it’s gonna be waaay longer than 10,000 words, and maybe even 20,000.
Whatever. It’s a fic, and I think you guys are going to seriously love it. I haven’t had this much fun writing something since Lights Will Guide You Home.
