I have this silly headcanon that Gabriel is severely lonely and after watching over children and expectant mothers for centuries, he longs for one of his own. So God shuts him up by giving him Castiel to look after. Gabriel is thrilled to pieces and immediately flies around Heaven showing him off to his brothers and sisters.
In other news, I think I’m getting the hang of this. Still got a long ways to go. Color is hard. D: Also, it looks better up close. Well, at least I think so…
